I first heard this from a complication CD of pop-alternative songs I bought way back in high school. Almost a decade has passed but the message it delivers still lingers at the back of my head whenever I need to boost up in life.

The song made an impact as soon as I heard the first few lines because with its brevity, it has the astounding power to inspire and drive. Telling us that we could be anything, anyone we wish to become. That life may be unfair but we just have to live by it and not dwell on negativity as that's just the way it is.

None of my acquaintances know about the band or the song making it obvious that Arkarna did not make it big. At times however, as they sang in this piece, it seems a whisper is louder than a scream. Lucky are those who have already listened to and felt the power of Life Is Free! If you haven't heard of this, the hidden message is yet to be unfolded. Close your eyes. Open your ears.
